Sport Science Intern

Overview
We are seeking a Sports Science Intern to join our team. As a Sports Science Intern, you will collaborate with our sports scientists, engineers, and data analysts to develop and implement an ecosystem of AI and sensor-based solutions for performance enhancement and injury prevention in athletes in addition to seniors and people with mobility issues which will be promoted to consumers and enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret physiological and biomechanical data from athletes using advanced wearable sensors and software.

Research and Development: Assist in the design and implementation of sports science research projects focused on AI, robotics, and sensor technologies.

Collaboration: Work with engineers to develop and test AI-driven performance monitoring and injury prevention tools.

Literature Review: Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on the latest advancements in sports science, AI, and sensor technology.

Training Programs: Support the development of personalized training programs based on data analysis and research findings.

Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and project progress to the team and stakeholders.

Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workshops to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

Academic Background: Experience or interested in, or currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) is a plus but not required.

Interest in Technology: Strong interest in AI, robotics, and sensor technologies as applied to sports performance and injury prevention.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to innovative projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: Experience with machine learning or AI algorithms.

Research Experience: Previous experience in a sports science research setting.

Statistical Knowledge: Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and software.
