We are seeking a Finance Intern to join our team at Flomad, where you’ll play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, contributing to detailed revenue and expense forecasts. As a Finance Intern, you will develop financial models, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare financial reports and performance presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing detailed financial models for revenue and expense forecasting, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Conduct market research to support revenue growth projections, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze historical financial data, generating insights to inform future forecasting and business strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare presentations and reports on financial performance, highlighting key trends and findings.
  • Support the finance team with various projects, including budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting tasks.
  • Explore emerging AI technologies to enhance productivity, data analysis workflows, and financial decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interest in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with academic or professional exposure to financial planning and analysis.
  • Analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling; experience with financial software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear presentation of financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Interest in Data Analytics, including exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python, will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply emerging technologies in finance, data analytics, and business strategy development.
